Encouragement

There comes a time in every woman's life when she has to take a close look at herself.

Not at her circumstance, not at what she did, not how unfair life is, or at who made you do it. She has to just look at herself in all her glory and imperfection.

Have you ever admired a woman who has been through changes in her life? Or have you made up in your mind that she is just messed up? ? ? Before you make this mistake, take a closer look. A woman who has endured the most unusual life is someone of wisdom.

Women are so quick to beat the next one down instead of trying to hold her up. Before you wonder, "What's up with her?" ask yourself, "What's up with me?" That woman could be my mother, sister, aunt, in-law, stepmother, niece, grandmother, great-grandmother, neighbor, friend, or co-worker, etc. That woman could be ME.

Women are the carriers of life, not the channels of death. Let's build and encourage each other!

I agree completely with you.

Strong women that can go through change, and whether they fall and pick themselves up again, or just brush it off and move on, should be admired.

I believe we grow through our experiences, and nobody has the right to judge us upon that.

very well said scotty girl...thanks!! i have been through a lot of stuff, i've been judged harshly and looked down upon, but i am stronger for what i've been through. other women do NOT care for my strength of character, in fact they are threatened by me. I have to tip toe around them, and pretend to be an idiot, but i'm at a point where i'm done with that, and ready to be ME. I've spent all my life being the one to put forth a hand...because i walk in a room and i get JUDGED. it gets tiring after awhile. because on the inside is a heart of gold.

Very encouraging and generous post. I agree, we should treat each other more gently.

I suffered a lot of judgment when I left my ex husband. It was a hard time in my life, but also a very liberating time. I had to come to grips with the fact that some of the people I thought were my friends simply were not. And that if they wanted to know my side of the story, they would ask. Some of them did. Many of them didn't. But as my daughter says, "Mom, you're an amazing person and don't you forget it. The truth always comes out in the end."

May we all spend some time considering what it means to be truly gracious.

I have about one hundred of them but the summation of them is that I am still here, alive, kickin, smiling and blessed with many of life's pleasures.

I don't care what people say, women rule the world and we do need to be more encouraging to each other. I get a little self centered ocassionally and it bugs me. I just want people to care as deeply about me as I do them.
