I am a Hottie Blogger
Being a Hottie Blogger means we are beautiful inside and out.
Regardless of our flaws, our large derriere and wearing the wrong foundation, we are still beautiful. I think that every one of us has something about us that we could do without and on the flip side, have a feature they would love to accentuate. We'll all be happy to give out tips on what the best foundation is, but that is not what makes a Hottie Blogger.
If I can be so bold (Sus, feel free to edit away) I will now offer a definition of a Hottie Blogger as spoken in the first post of the Launch of GHB by our own SusieBadoozie:
...That we not only get comfortable in our own skin, but we celebrate it. We start being hotties, from the inside out. We look in the mirror and we tell ourselves everyday. DANG GIRL, you are HAWT. And the attitude we perpetuate on the inside, will thus infiltrate outward, and gradually we will truly believe we are hotties. We WILL be hotties. Because lets face it ladies, even though you might get told you're hot, do you really believe it? Or do you brush it aside, and believe that old tape playing in your head?
Let's fight the stigma together And lets get hot and be hot. Lets be hotties for ourselves first, then our mates secondly. We can laugh, look, share and explore together. We can swap beauty secrets, and we can encourage and exhort one another. We can have an extreme makeover of the whole body and soul.
Susie is so right!!! So, there should be a couple standards:
1) All levels of hair, makeup, skin, exercise and diet expertise welcome.
2) You must believe there is value in every woman, inside and out.
3) Once a month you must do one or more of the following:
a)Call up a girlfriend and have some time together at a bookstore, a movie, or over coffee.
b)Treat yourself to some girl pampering..ie, color hair, new makeup, take Pilates, uninterrupted bubble bath with chocolate and a tabloid mag, pedicure, a box of chocolate.
c) Take a picture of yourself and POST!!!
Speaking of, I just colored my hair. It looks reddish black in the pic but it's more of a dark chocolate color.
