Gotta quit listening to Oprah, it's costing me money...

Well, I went and did it. I went to VS and had a bra fitting. I've been buying 36C for most of my adult life. Today, I measured out 34DD. When I tried it on, I figured out what all the hullabaloo was about. It felt so much better!!!! I thought I had been doing the measuring thing correctly, but whatever, I'm sold. The girls will be hoisted up appropriately in a couple new numbers I bought. Hot indeed.

I realize I'm a little late to the party on this one, but what do we all think of the newest installment in Dove's campaign for real beauty? Three words: You go, Gramma!

Speaking of accepting our own imperfect hotness, and tying in with the diet book debate from earlier, let me suggest this one:

These two ladies really look into the "whys" of our eating habits and make suggestions for gradual changes that lead to healthier lifestyle, learning to love your body where it's at and not wait until you lose weight.

I'm off to enjoy me new underwear, you all have a great one!

I did a post a long time ago about going to VS for this very thing...it was not pleasant for me or my friend who was deemed "too big" for them. So basically I boycotted them, which made Frederick's veddy happy. Frederick's is more my (slutty) speed anyway.

I buy my bras at Lane Bryant - they put my girls right back where they're suppose to go and have a nice look to them.

Oh, and I'm all into FlyLady right now - she's kicking my bootie though. I haven't tried the Body Clutter yet.

You thought you were a C and you were a DD? Hot damn, girl! Do you often underestimate yourself?

VS is the best place to buy bras. I buy there exclusively and yes, the way your outfit looks and how you feel about it are entirely dependent on your undergarments! That's why they used to call bras "foundations!"

When I came to your blog I thought I would find a mew blogger by the comments you left. The is a great blog. Sorry but I couldn't read the other one because it was difficult to see.

You won't be sorry you replaced your old kitty with a new one. I thought I would be uspet when both my cats, who started out as strays took off one day. I was without for about a month and found they provided a lot of company. Charlie, my cat since november 2006m as really grown on me. He is sitting right on the desk watching me. I won't get two this time. They asy they stay closer to you id there is only one.
